Rudd's Pub CannonBall Run!
Brief ride report.

Why? Because we were having such a good time riding, drinking, chatting, and riding. Who took some photos??.......lucky Ben did a couple!

Anyways two starter groups met up at Fernvale. Steve M and guest Hugh came back for a second round after running and winning their own Cannonball Run the day before.

I managed to get the southside group there much to their amusement at my 'skillful' manoeuvres and wrong turns (only four) trying to use REVER on a phone screen. Ben !@#$ off. I didn't miss the few corners on Pine Mountain Rd - so I get a pass mark.

The northside group ran into the back of day 1 of the annual Aussie Postie Bike Challenge (a national treasure). Lucky no postie bike was injured in the encounter.

10 club members & 1 guest attended (can't be bothered typing up the list). Will say a certain founding member turned up and still hasn't renewed his membership. Is on the expired naughty list. Doesn't seem to carry cash. Said member also showed us how a Multi. can go from hyperspace weapon on the tar, to dirtbike bitch in the paddock-----bloody V4 eager beavers.

No cabbage was injured...point of order to be raised at next committee meeting, in regard to fines to be issued to hyperspace weapons overtaking the ride leader without prior permission.

Will say Best-Phil and Bondi-Phil attended, as Phils are turning the club into our own cult!

Got to the clear The Beasts pipes out fully. Found it interesting the Version 1 of the ST2 ran out of puff a little ealier than the Version 3 ST2. Maybe the sprockets are slightly different in size....or the lack of full fairing....

Rudd's pub puts on a professional and generous menu/meal size. It is also just a cool place. Worth going, staying the night etc. Check it out @ https://www.facebook.com/p/Rudds-Pub-Nobby-QLD-100057160521146/.

Favourite bike was won by John C on his tasty Monster something. Hmmm.. the ride sign on sheet under bike type just states "Ducati" (no shit Sherlock). Guys and Gal's this column is for the model as well! Next time I'm just gonna write 'M/C' for motorcycle.

Prize was a shirt from WDW (?) donated by the Prez.

No Hard luck (thank goodness there was not an XYZ, or was there? Maybe I'm a winner?) - so not awarded.

Ciao.

Best-Phil.
